What goes thru the mind of a CRO Chief Risk Officer, Andrew Chan, FCA on the stage of WikiEXPO Finance Hong Kong 2026?
The iconic movie scene in the “Blade Runner” flashed into my mind, with the replicant Roy Batty’s monologue “like tears in the rain”, marking also the moment where he “becomes more human than human”.
As a risk professional and more importantly as a human being, we need to be more authentic than ever, not really to combat AI but to simply be “more human than human”.
It is also why I never use AI to prepare a script, I simply take the mic and live the moment on stage - breathing and speaking out like a human being honestly expressing oneself. Or like Bruce Lee would say - “Be Water, my friend”
